| Magic Moment Award Magic Moment Award may be awarded to anyone connected with the Club. It's normally awarded by the Club Secretary or a member of the Club to someone who has provided a lasting memory of the season; this might be anything from an act of kindness, a great sporting gesture or a humorous incident |
Phil Emmerson The Magic Moment Award was given to the Under 15s manager Phil Emmerson, whom after hearing that his goalkeeper was available but couldn't make it to the game, offered to collect him and transport him to the match. Normally this wouldn't be particularly unusual, however on this occasion the goalie was in Watford, which meant a round trip of around 350 miles! Despite Phil's dedication to the cause, his U15s team still lost the match! Phil's efforts 'over and above the call of duty' have been recognised by The Magic Moment Award. |
