Presentation Night

At the end of every season we hold our Annual Club Presentation Nights. In the past, the club had one presentation night for all teams. As the club grew larger, the presentation nights were split into three separate presentation evenings. In the 2009/2010 season, the club has expanded so much, that there were four separate presentations. Mini Soccer teams from Under 7 to Under 9 had one evening, the Under 10's teams held their presentation on Ecclesfield, as well as having a mini soccer competition. There was another presentation evening for the older teams, from ages Under 11 to Under 17. There was also a fourth presentation held for the girls teams, this was a 'fun' day with activities, food and games.

In the past we have been fortunate enough to secure the services of stars such as Wayne Rooney, Phil Thompson (Ex Liverpool FC), Alan Kennedy (Ex Liverpool FC), and Dave Watson (Ex Everton FC) to present our Club Trophies. This year, we were lucky enough to have Liverpool Under 18 Captain and England Under 18 Captain Connor Coady to present the trophies.

Bleak Hill Rovers is also thankful to the players of St Helens Rugby League Club, for supporting our presentation nights. Particular thanks to an outstanding St. Helens lad both on and off the field; Saints and Great Britain full-back, Paul Wellens, who was rightfully crowned Super League 'Man of Steel' in 2006. Paul has kindly given up his own free time to support our club, on more than one occasion.

The Club welcomes offers from sporting stars willing to make the Presentation Night that bit more special.

No-one could disagree however, that the real stars of Presentation Night are the players themselves. The Club values the contribution of everyone, so every single player receives a trophy for his/her efforts throughout the season. The names of individual award-winners (Player of the Year etc) will be recorded each year in the Annual Presentation Night Results.
